Pretzel Bacon Pub Triple Cheeseburger

This burger is a fairly new addition to the Wendy's menu, and it's leaving quite an impression. (Spoiler: It's not a good one!)
See, it's made up of three of Wendy's iconic square beef patties that are covered in warm beer cheese sauce, Applewood smoked bacon, smoky honey mustard, crispy fried onions, pickles, and a slice of muenster cheese, all on a soft pretzel bun. This all makes for a burger that has the most amount of calories out of all the burgers on the menu. That is reason enough to stay away from it.
Bacon Jalapeño Cheeseburger Triple

Take a bite of this monstrous burger and you'll bite into three patties that are topped with pickled jalapeños, Applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, crispy fried onions, a savory cheese sauce, and a smoky jalapeño sauce. Not only it is more than 1,200 calories and packing a scary 86 grams of fat, but it has 4.5 grams of heart-harming trans fat. The 2015-2020 American Dietary Guidelines say it's best to limit trans fats consumption to as low as possible, which means zero trans fats should be what you're aiming for.
Plus, the sodium is outrageous here, to say the least! The American Heart Association recommends consuming no more than 2,300 milligrams of sodium per day. This burger has 2,150 milligrams, nearly missing your entire daily limit.

Taco Salad
It shouldn't come as much of a secret that most fast food salads aren't, well, very healthy. Wendy's taco salad is made of a lettuce blend, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, salsa, sour cream, tortilla chips, and the chain's hearty chili. If your salad is nearly 700 calories, contains trans fat, and has more sodium than 160 lay's Potato chips, just know you shouldn't eat it.
Breakfast Baconator

Wendy's breakfast menu might be delicious, but it's offering up some over-the-top menu options you should avoid. Take for example the Breakfast Baconator. It's made of grilled sausage, American cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, a fresh-cracked egg, more cheese, and more bacon, all covered in swiss cheese sauce. It comes in at 730 calories and has more than 1,700 milligrams of sodium. And that's without factoring in any side orders!
Chili Cheese Fries

Wendy's signature sea-salted fries are upgraded with this side dish order, as they are topped with the chain's beloved chili and a rich, creamy cheese sauce. For a side dish, this menu option is far too excessive, as you'll most likely be pairing this with a burger or some chicken. You're much better off getting a small order of the plain fries, which come in at 270 calories and contain 210 milligrams of sodium.
Pretzel Pub Chicken Sandwich

If you thought the pretzel pub chicken sandwich might be a safer option than the massive pub burger, it's really not. Here, you're treated to a breaded chicken breast that is topped with that warm beer cheese sauce, Applewood smoked bacon, smoky honey mustard, crispy fried onions, pickles, and a slice of muenster cheese. It's still high in calories, fat, and sodium, like the burger option. Skip!
Wendy's Frosty Cookie Sundae
Wendy's chocolate Frosty is a classic fast-food dessert, but the sweet treat's makeover is a bit too much. This sundae version is topped with chocolate chunk cookie bites and Ghirardelli chocolate sauce, which means you're eating tons more sugar. It's packing 45 grams, which is double the amount of sugar you would get from a junior-sized chocolate Frosty.
